“EasyMeds” (“EasyMedsHealth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a brand operated by Groove Health Limited, a company incorporated in Jamaica. Throughout this document, references to “EasyMeds,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Groove Health Limited, trading under the brand name EasyMeds.
We provide an online telemedicine platform where we connect Jamaican residents so that they may receive online doctor consultations and order prescription medications and treatments delivered in discreet packaging to their homes.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “user”) and Groove Health Limited, trading as “EasyMeds Health” regarding your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using our Services, you:
Confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Represent that you meet the eligibility criteria in Section 3.
Consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.
2. Scope of Services
EasyMeds operates as a telehealth facilitator — not a medical practice. Our Services include:
Facilitating virtual consultations with registered Jamaican medical practitioners;
Providing a platform for the secure transmission of medical history, symptoms, and other health-related information;
Coordinating the placing of orders for and the collection of prescription medications which are dispensed by licensed Jamaican pharmacies; and
Arranging delivery to your provided address.
We do not:
Provide emergency medical care;
Guarantee a prescription will be issued;
Provide medical advice;
Manufacture or compound or dispense medications;
Provide services outside Jamaica.
3. Eligibility
To use the Services, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Reside in Jamaica;
Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement; and
Not be barred from using the Services under Jamaican law.
If you are under 18, you may use our Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
4. Telehealth Consultations
By scheduling or participating in a telehealth consultation, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are engaging with licensed medical professionals who operate independently of EasyMeds.
All consultations are subject to the Medical Act, the Telemedicine Guidelines of the Ministry of Health & Wellness, and other applicable laws.
A provider may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your condition and may recommend in-person care.
Prescriptions are issued solely at the discretion of the provider based on professional judgment.
5. Prescriptions and Medications
Prescription Eligibility: A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
Pharmacy Fulfilment: Only licensed Jamaican pharmacies may dispense medications.
Use of Medications: You must follow the instructions provided by your prescribing doctor and pharmacist.
Prohibited Resale: Medications are for your personal use only and may not be resold or transferred.
Adverse Reactions: You should seek immediate medical attention if you experience any adverse effects.
6. Delivery of Medications
Delivery is available only to addresses within Jamaica.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery.
We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control (e.g., courier delays, adverse weather, supply shortages).
7. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of the Services.
You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must share true copies of all documents requested by us as a part of the set up of your user account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
8. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
All prices are in Jamaican Dollars (JMD).
Payment is due in full at the time of order.
Accepted payment methods are listed on our platform.
Refunds: Prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, except where required by Jamaican law.
Refunds for consultation fees are available only where a consultation has not been provided.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal and health information will be handled in compliance with the Jamaican Data Protection Act, 2020. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the platform (text, graphics, logos, software) is owned by EasyMeds or our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
11. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
Provide false or misleading information;
Attempt to obtain prescriptions for resale or distribution;
Use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
Interfere with the operation of the Services or attempt to gain unauthorized access;
Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
12. Third-Party Services
We may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, pharmacies, delivery providers). These third parties are independent entities and we are not responsible for their content, actions, or policies.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by Jamaican law:
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Services.
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent medical professionals or pharmacies.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
EasyMeds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
EasyMeds is not responsible for the exercise of professional judgment by the medical practitioners or pharmacists to which you may be connected pursuant to this service.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasyMeds, its affiliates, medical providers, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from:
Your breach of these Terms;
Your misuse of the Services; or
Your violation of applicable laws.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you:
Violate these Terms;
Engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct;
Misuse prescriptions or medications.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Jamaica.
Where permitted by law, you agree to attempt informal resolution before commencing court proceedings.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted with the “Last Updated” date, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
