Jamaican Men’s Guide to Bedroom Confidence
As we continue to recover from the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, the team at EasyMeds wishes to extend our deepest condolences to everyone who has suffered loss, whether of loved ones, property, or peace of mind. This storm shook us to the core, but as Jamaicans, we know how to bend and not break. Together, we will rebuild, stronger and better than before.
In the midst of recovery, access to medication and basic healthcare remains a major concern. If you need prescription refills or over-the-counter supplies, here are a few important tips to help you stay healthy and safe:
1) Visit functioning pharmacies and clinics
Some hospital pharmacies and local health centres are open, especially those that avoided major damage. Call ahead if possible, or check with nearby community clinics to see if they are dispensing essential medicines.
2) Check supermarkets and corner shops
Many grocery stores and small shops may still have over-the-counter medications like Panadol, ibuprofen, allergy tablets, antiseptic wipes, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and bandages. These can help with minor pain, fever, or small injuries.
3) Protect medications that need refrigeration
If your medication requires cold storage but you are without electricity, store it in a cooler with ice. Ice may be available at gas stations or supermarkets that are open. However, if your medication has been unrefrigerated for more than 24 hours, it may no longer be safe. Always check the label and expiry date before use. We know times are hard, but we are Jamaicans, resilient, faithful, and full of love for each other.
EasyMeds is here for you as we heal and rebuild together. Stay strong, stay hopeful, and remember… we likkle but we tallawah!
